Remembrance Day Services:

 Lancaster’s commemoration will take place on Sunday 12th November at the Cenotaph at the side of Lancaster Town Hall. Full uniform, and a poppy, should be worn by all those attending. We will once again gather along the side of the remembrance garden, which runs parallel with the road. All Groups must be in place for 10.20am. The service will conclude at 11.10am. 

Morecambe’s commemoration will be as follows: 
10.30 a.m.           All units and organisations taking part in the Parade will be asked to muster on Marine Road opposite The Platform under the direction of the Parade Marshal.
 
10.40 a.m.           The Parade will move off and march to the Cenotaph lead by Morecambe Band and under the direction of the Parade Marshal.
 
10.55 am             The Commemorative Service will commence.
 
11.00 a.m.           The Two-Minutes Silence will be observed.
 
11.03 a.m.           The Deputy Mayor will lay the City Council’s wreath.  Other wreath layers will follow under the direction of the Director of Ceremonies, after which they will take up positions with their respective organisations, and the Service will continue.
  
The Service will conclude at approximately 11.15am. The Parade will re-form on the Promenade adjacent to the Cenotaph and march back to The Platform under the direction of the Parade Marshal, saluting the Cenotaph whilst passing it on the Marine Road side.

ADC Cubs:

We are looking for someone with the motivation, drive and determination to make a difference to the young people in the Cub Section. As the ADC Cubs, you will be involved in shaping the District Programme, to ensure that we deliver adventure, awards, nights away and a whole lot of fun. You’ll need to be a team player, with the ability to communicate effectively, lead teams and motivate people.

Thanks for all you do to make Scouting amazing in Lonsdale. Our biggest challenge is recruiting more adults to get children off waiting lists and get them involved in our adventure…so with that, sometimes all we need to do is just ask people. Who will you ask?
