SCOUT NOTES.
A seaside place like Morecambe is suitable for the purpose of a huge Scout camp, and an effort is being made by the Local Association and the Advertising Committee of the Corporation, to secure Morecambe as the place for a Jamboree of Scouts of the Northern Counties. May success attend the attempt

IMMORTAL INITIALS.
It is given to few men to have their initials achieve immortality. Such fame attended the late T. P. O’Connor, but to an even greater extent have the initials of the founder of the Scout movement become of international importance. Lord Baden Powell had most suitable initials to utilise in a slogan for the movement which he founded. “B.P.” has become synonymous with “Be Prepared.” What better watchword could there be for Scouts than this, which shows them as ever ready for action.
NEW TROOP.
There appears to be a possibility of the formation of another Scout Troop in Morecambe. If this should transpire the headquarters are likely to be at the Green Street Wesleyan Schools, with which Church the Troop will be associated. Morecambe certainly is in need of more Scout Troops.
SEA SCOUTS.
A place like Morecambe should be attractive for the formation of Troops of Sea Scouts. At the moment there is only one – at the West End, and there really should be one at the East, and the Central, where the boats of the fishermen lie at anchor. The owners of the boats would probably be willing to assist in the formation of a Troop of Sea Scouts if they were approached.
