Re: Appointment of a District Appointments Secretary
I am pleased to confirm that I have appointed Judith Hunter as the District Appointment Secretary, succeeding Kris Preddy on the 1st August 2013.
Judith will be known to many of you as an Assistant Cub Scout Leader at 16th Lancaster, a role she will continue to hold. Those that know Judith will know that she is highly organised, efficient and will do an excellent job. I am particularly grateful to Judith for accepting this role, at an exciting time, as we prepare to move over to a new membership system that will make the appointment of adults and the management of our membership information much easier and more efficient. More on that to follow in due course…
From now on, all appointment forms can be sent directly to Judith, either by post or electronically (see District Directory for details).
Finally, I’d like to thank Kris Preddy for her dedicated service as Appointments Secretary over the last five years. Kris’ efficiency, hard work and organisational skills mean that our records are in good shape as we move forward. I wish Kris a very healthy and happy retirement.
