The Winner of the recent District Chess Competition was Freddie Calvert from 23rd Lancaster (Christ Church).
Runner up from 5th Lancaster (Cathedral & St. Bernadette’s) was Frances Archer.
Third from 1st Forton (Duchy) was Jack Nickson-Graham; joint Fourth from 1st Overton (St. Helen’s) (Joe Walker)and from 1st Forton (Duchy) (Harris Troughton). These top 5 players will now represent Lonsdale district in the County Competition on 21st March in Preston.
