Funding Adventures For Young People
Our Activity Centres provide facilities to hundreds of young people, from a wide range of backgrounds, every year and offer a place for adventure, an opportunity to make new friends and an experience they are unlikely to have elsewhere. We provide young people with life skills such as as confidence, sociability and adaptability.
By supporting Lonsdale’s Activity Centres (either by fundraising, donating or volunteering) you help us continue to play the vital part we do in the community and improve the facilities we can provide.
There are many ways to help support our Activity centres.:

If you are looking to make a Donation to help Littledale and SilverHelme carry on providing to the young people that come to camp and experience the wide range of activities on offer, or to one of our current projects, use the Donate button below. (we would like to say “Thank You”)
Leaving a legacy
Add the gift of a donation in your will.
Many kind people have supported our Activity Centres in the past,
Leave a gift to Scouts in your will so the next generation can enjoy all that Scouts has to offer.
Large or small, a charity gift in your Will makes a big difference.
Please contact us to discuss this option.
Making a will is important
Wills make it easier for family and friends to settle your affairs, and it provides great comfort to know your loved ones will be looked after when you’re not around.
Wills also give you control over what happens to your assets and funds so if you’re passionate about a cause, you can use your Will to support the cause you care about most.
Because life is full of uncertainties, it makes sense to create a Will as soon as possible, and simply amend and update it every now and then.
