Scouting Notes
Saturday, October 17th, paper collection for the 5th and 7th Lancaster, at 2 p.m.; at 6 p.m, fireman class, and at 7 p.m. engineer class. According to the number of badges gained during the year the troops are placed in the following order:- 1st 4th Lancaster, 2nd Caton, 3rd 5th Lancaster, 4th 7th Lancaster, 5th 1st Morecambe, 6th 4th Morecambe, 7th 1st Hornby Castle, 8th 1st Carnforth, 9th Melling Parish, 1st Glasson, and 6th Morecambe. Badges: War Service (100 days) J. Barnes, 5th Lancaster; 1st Class and Green Cords, F. Shaw, 1st Caton; Swimmer, J. Barnes, 5th Lancaster; Naturalist, H. Slinger, Hornby; Thriftyman, F. Butterworth, 4th Lancaster; Entertainer, J. Peel, 4th Lancaster.
