A successful demonstration of fire brigade work was given by the Boy Scouts of Lancaster before a large gathering in the Town Hall Lancaster on Saturday night, the efficiency displayed reflecting a great credit on Engineer Simpson, of the Corporation fire brigade, who for several years has devoted himself to this useful work. The Mayoress, Mrs. Briggs, distributed the awards.
