JAMBOREE EXPERIENCE
Don’t miss out on the adventure of a lifetime at Swedish National Scout Jamboree taking place in Norra Åsum, kåne in July/August 2021.
Lonsdale Scouts are looking to appoint a team to lead this incredible adventure…
Ten years after Sweden hosted the World Scout Jamboree this experience will bring together Sweden’s Scouts and international guests for an amazing week long adventure. Lonsdale Scouts are looking for a team of six leaders to take up to 36 Scouts and Explorers to join in the adventure.
➢ To be eligible as a leader, you must be aged 18 by 1st February 2020.
➢ Applications are open to all adult volunteers, you don’t just need to be a Scout or Explorer Leader to apply.
➢ The Jamboree will take place from 31st July to 7th August 2021.
The leadership team, alongside young people, will plan the trip and may include some time pre/post jamboree in Sweden.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
➢ The deadline for applications is 31st January 2020. Late applicants won’t be accepted.
➢ Interviews will take place on the evening of 5th February 2020.
➢ Leaders also pay the participant fee for the trip and will work together to fundraise this.
