Scouts ‘Gang Show’ at Heysham
Members of the 6th Morecambe and Heysham Scout Group have presented a bright “Gang Show,” at the Ambulance Hall, Middleton Road, Heysham, this week.
Based on the Ralph Reader show, it reveals a wealth of talent among the scouters. Seventy scouts and cubs of the group perform in the two-hour show.
Attractive costumes made by the parents’ committee, entertaining dance routines arranged by Mrs. Wilson, and picturesque scenery lent by the Balmoral Secondary School helped to make it a first-rate production.
Stage lighting and effects were by Mr. H. Walmsley, Mr. J. Slater, Mr. A. Jackson, and Mr. T. Gardner. Musical accompaniment is provided by W. Redford. The event was organized by the Group scoutmaster, Mr. Norman Perryman and and Mr. J. Dunderdale.
