After many years supporting the operation of the Lancaster Scout and Guide Shop, as Manageress, Trish Holland has decided that a much-deserved retirement is imminent.
On behalf of the Management Committee, we have started the search for a new Shop Manager. Many of you will be familiar with the Shop; there are two parts of the role, summarised as:
- overall co-ordination of the operation of the Shop, including all day-to-day financial aspects; and
- managing the Scout trading arm (ensuring sufficient stock, co-ordinating a volunteer rota, etc.).
More details are available on request. A working knowledge of Scouting is essential. We would not be averse to a job share appointment (to suit particular circumstances).
